We have played a lot of weddings over the years, but every once in a while we get a wedding that feels like it was made for The Big Badd. Claire and Lovell’s wedding at The Peak at Edison Brewing was absolutely one of those nights!
Lovell is actually an old high school friend of Ian’s, so getting to celebrate with him and Claire was already pretty special for us. But then we found out just how many drummers were going to be in the crowd, and things got even more fun!
We brought our Photo Booth along for the celebration, giving everyone a chance to capture some memories throughout the night. But things got really exciting when a group of the drummers in attendance started joining in with our percussion instruments during the reception.
As you might imagine, having a crowd full of drummers around The Big Badd was pretty awesome.
We love when our guests get involved with the music, and this was a perfect example of why. Instead of just watching the band, these guys became part of the show. Our percussion setup became an unofficial playground for some seriously talented musicians, and we were all about it!
Of course, the weather decided to make things interesting too. There was some pretty scary weather moving through during the evening, and for a little while, we weren't sure exactly how the night was going to play out. But somehow, everything worked out. The storm passed, the celebration continued, and we ended the night with one of the coolest wedding-day finales we could have asked for.
A double rainbow!
After all the excitement of the day, seeing that double rainbow appear over the celebration felt like the perfect ending. It was one of those moments where everyone stopped for a second to take it all in.
That is what we love about weddings. You can plan every detail, but sometimes the moments you never could have planned are the ones you remember most.
Claire and Lovell, we were so happy to celebrate with you and even happier that we got to share this crazy, musical, rainbow-filled night with you and your friends and family. It was an absolute blast from start to finish!
And for anyone looking for wedding entertainment in Columbus, Ohio, we are always ready for a packed dance floor, enthusiastic guests, and maybe even a few surprise musicians along the way.
You never know what is going to happen when you throw The Big Badd into the mix, and that is exactly how we like it.
